Caregiver

  • Added a question regarding Vehicle Recalls.
    • This will be unrequired until November to get previous checks in and then be made required.
  • Changed Caregiver hearing about seat check to –
    • What brought the caregiver to the seat check?
      • Citation/Warning
      • Assistance Program
      • Concerns with Safety
      • Saw it on Social Media
      • Referred by Doctor, Friend, or Family
      • Unknown
    • This will be unrequired until November to get previous checks in and then be made required.
  • Moved Recertification questions to the end of the Child form.

Child on Arrival

  • #6 – Added “Present” after No Child response.

CS Findings on Arrival

  • #11 – Added Lock-Off response and reordered options.
  • #12 – Added misuse for Recline Angle Correct
    • Too Upright
    • Too Reclined
  • #14 – Added misuse, “CS Tilted”.

On Departure

  • #38 – Added Lock-Off response and reordered options.
  • #39a – Added Caregiver and AAA as responses on the web version.

Final Inspection

  • Regrouped 51-54 questions into a Final Inspection section.
  • Added questions 54, 54a, and 54b.
    • This will be unrequired until November to get previous checks in and then be made required.
      • 54b. Mock Seat Check?
        • Yes/No
      • 54a. If yes, Pass/Fail
        • Also added a blank on the paper form for Instructors to initial.
      • 54a – Is this CS for recertification?
        • Yes/No

Dashboard Updates

  • The Child Restraint Misuse page now features a summary table showing misuse percentages for all misuse types in one table, which can be exported to excel.
  • On the child restraint misuse page, Harness, Lower Anchor, Tether, and Seatbelt tabs now display a chart breaking down the top misuse subcategories.
  • All bar charts can now be downloaded as images. Navigate to the top right of any chart to click the “download PNG” button.
  • The Table Tool now includes preset “easy” buttons to demonstrate two different tabulations: Seats Distributed and Overall Misuse by Child Age.
  • The Table Tool also includes a reset button to clear the current table and an export button to download your table to excel.
